The AND Lab Assisted Residencies in retreat mode happens once a year, in April, in the partner space Trust Collective, in the village of Barril de Alva, near Serra do Açor and Serra da Estrela, in the Coimbra region. Establishing a direct relationship with the countryside and nature, this two-week residency provides an environment of concentration and focus, while allowing work to be interspersed with walks, trails, and dips in the Alva River, which is a 5-minute walk from the workspace. Artists and/or researchers from any field, with creative and/or mediation projects, in embryonic phase or already in development stage, can apply. It is not essential to have had previous contact with the AND Operational Mode in order to participate.

What is included:Workshop for Introduction to the AND Operative Mode in group, with Fernanda Eugenio, focusing on the AND tools for creation
One-to-one mentoring sessions with Fernanda Eugenio interspersed with time for autonomous studio work
Practice sessions of the AND Game in group
Accommodation in double room
Vegetarian food in colective kitchen mode
Free time for dips in the river and walks
Organisation and dissemination of a final session for sharing processes, open to the local community
