"Adramalech's Monologue" is one of Novarina's oldest texts, a core text of his work and widely staged in several countries. Novarina's work, it should be said, is never a soliloquy, and under the title of monologue there is a hiden false premise: it is an actor on stage, but an actor who is a prism - a body inhabited - by voices and languages, not by nerves and blood, as the author reminds us.

A multiple body, a faceless body, a body that dismembers.
