We are pleased to announce that Trust Collective's Friendship Policies and Practices project, proposed by Bernardo Chatillon, Fernanda Eugénio and Cláudia Teixeira, has been supported by DG Arts and will take place in 2023 / 2024.
Betting on the potential effect of friendship as a micro-policy for combating inequality and inequality and discrimination and as a practice of creating a territory for everyone, the Trust's curatorial line proposes a programme structured around four axes of activity - training, research, creation and sharing-presentation - which invites artistic structures, artists and researchers, whose profiles and work touch on the wound of indifference and intolerance, to a temporary dwelling relationship with the region, activating the friendly and non-imposing presence of non-imposing presence of otherness as an invitation to curiosity, playfulness and experimentation with
themes, languages and practices that can cause discomfort and strangeness.
